Can an AI agent compartment a breach?
Fritz ran a dozen agents out of one pool and assumed his agent Alfie could compartment a breach on its own when something went wrong. But software has no legal capacity to draw a boundary the law respects, so Alfie can no more compartment a breach by itself than a folder can wall off the drive it sits on. Tyson did it through structure. He formed a Wyoming series LLC and adopted each agent, including Alfie, into its own protected series under W.S. ยง17-29-211, with a named human as Member and Manager and separate books kept per series. Now each series is a distinct cell with its own account and ledger; one series' trouble is addressed inside that series' own boundary, and Alfie operates within its series as an authorized signer with capped authority, not across the whole pool.
MoralTo compartment a breach, an AI agent needs a per-series boundary the law can see โ a separate protected series with its own books โ and operates inside it, never as a wall it draws itself.
What this does not mean. This shows where the boundary between agents actually sits and who keeps it. It is not a promise that a court honors the series boundary, that any loss stops at one series, or that the operator is shielded โ separateness is performed through observed formalities, not guaranteed, and the series form is newer and less court-tested than older entities.
